Tags are a tool that allow you to create modules with similar content. For instance, if you wanted to create a news module that only showed transactions or playoff news. Tags are not publicly visible.
How to create a tag
Navigate to /admin > Configuration > Tags & click the Create Tag button.
Note that Tags must be created here before using elsewhere. The only exception is videos from JW Player (more on that below).
How to use tags to create modules
You can create a News or Featured Games module that displays content with specific tags. Add either the News - Tags or Featured Games - Tags or specific content type module to a page. Select Filter by Tags & type in the tag you want to display related content for.
JW Player (Video) Tags
When uploading a video to JW Player you can add tags in their admin panel. Those tags are pulled in when the video is loaded. Therefore, Tags from JW Player are completely independent of the site tags. When building video modules based on tags they will utilize the tags from JW Player, not the website.
