The /tickets page on your website is built to help organize all your ticketing options & give users a really simple interface to find what they need. Part of conversion rate optimization is reducing friction. Ticket categories allow you to group your ticket options into categories like Season Tickets, Groups, Single Game Tickets, and Premium Seating.
Create a Ticket Category
Navigate to /admin > Tickets > Ticket Categories & click the Create Ticket Category Button.
Name the ticket category & create a title (what users will see).
Edit the URL slug (will be located at /tickets/
Add a featured image. Images will be cropped. Upload images with a 16:9 radio (recommended minimum dimensions: 2560x1440). If you don't load an image there is a fallback image that you can set at /admin > Configuration > Pages Configuration > Tickets Pages
Add Flag Text. This will add a call-out on the top left corner of the image on the /tickets page.
Add the Card Button Text. The default setting is Learn More
Add a short description. This will appear on the category card on the /tickets page.
Add a full description. This is intended to be general information about all packages in the category. For instance, an introduction to season tickets & a grid that showcases season ticket benefits. Details about each package can be entered in the ticket package card. The WYSIWYG editor will allow you to format text as needed, add tables, insert images, embed youtube videos and more. You may also add modules (accordion module, WYSIWYG, and Embed) to display additional content.
Add CTA Buttons (will appear on the category page on the top of the right rail).
- Tickets Link: Link directly to your ticketing provider. Please add the most direct link possible (so the user doesn't have to go searching for the package)
- Call Phone Number: This will add a button to call. Please include the Phone Number in the CTA so that desktop users can see the number.
- SMS Phone Number: This will initiate a text message. You can pre-load a text for the user to edit.
- Send Email: This will initiate an e-mail. You can pre-load the subject line & message for the user to edit.
- Fevo Offer: This will utilize Fevo's Javascript to open their drawer (when possible)
- Spinzo Offer: This will utilize Spinzo's Javascript to open their drawer (when possible)
Add a Form to the right rail of the category page.
Add a Title (this will appear as the form's header). You can edit the background color (default / alternative colors are defined in site settings). You can also add a description to provide more context if you want. Choose the form to display & update the ticket category.
Directing traffic for a ticket category to an external URL
If your ticket category only has one option (ex: Single Game Tickets at Ticketmaster), then you can direct all traffic for that category to an external URL to reduce a click. You may do so by editing the ticket category, Select use external URL, and specify the URL.
