You can add a social media feed from various sources. This feed is powered by a third party called Juicer. Social Media APIs change so frequently it is best to outsource this to a company who solely focuses on social feeds.
Before You Begin:
- In order to configure what feeds appear you will need admin access to Juicer. Send an e-mail to ian@patchboard.co for access.
- We have configured your feed, but if you ever change the URL of your feed in Juicer it will break the integration. If you update your URL please copy your new feed ID & insert it in your admin panel at /admin > Site Configuration > Juicer Feed ID
Add a Social Media Source
Once you have admin access to your Juicer Feed click + Add Social Media Source & follow the prompts to authorize access to your accounts.
You can control the posts that appear, set moderation filters, and filter content within Juicer. The process is pretty self-explanatory, but if you hit a wall you can try checking out Juicer's Help Articles here.
How to Configure a Social Feed Module
Add a Display Title for the module (not required). By default, The social links you have added under Site Configuration will display on the far right of the header.
Define the number of columns to display (on desktop). Note: The Social Feed Module will display at full width on both desktop and mobile. The columns specified here will determine how many columns of social posts will display within the module.
Define the number of posts you wish to display (at page load). Keep in mind how many columns you chose. If you want the module to appear even then choose a multiple of the number of columns you chose. Users can load more content if they want (keep in mind that if you choose a lot of posts it will make your page very long - especially on mobile)
