Video Modules allow you to display a selection of Videos from JW Player in various places on your site. These modules can be implemented on static pages, games, the homepage, and elsewhere in the site.
First, Add a Video Module. You can select one of three available modules:
- Videos - Latest
- Videos - Tags
- Videos - Specific Videos
How to configure a Video Module
Add a Display Title for the module (not required)
On mobile all modules will display at 100% width. However, you can control the width (and height) of the module on desktop.
Add a sponsor (not required). Each module type has a default sponsor (for instance, stats modules could all be sponsored by Warrior by default). You can choose an existing sponsor (from a dropdown), add a one-off logo, or select no sponsor. The sponsor logo will display next to the Module's Display Title.
Add a CTA Button (not required) that will display near the top right of the module.
Embed a Single Video
This module is only available on static pages & games. This will allow you to embed a video hosted with JW Player. Simply select the Video module & start typing the title of the video you want to embed.
Video - Latest
This module will display all Video Posts (Reverse Chronological)
Video - Tags
This option will allow you to create a module that displays all videos that utilizes certain tags. Keep in mind that these modules utilize the tags added in JW Player, so when you add them they will not populate like they do in other modules. The tag must match the JWPlayer tag exactly (case sensitive).
Video - Specific Videos
This option will allow you to create a module that displays specific videos. This could be useful for displaying a curated group of videos related to something specific like highlights or game recaps.
Start typing the title of the Video you want to add & a list of results (with their publish date) will appear. Select all videos you want to appear in the module.
You can reorder the videos by clicking the reorder link & dragging / dropping posts.
