The hero module is the first main content block on your homepage. You can schedule content to appear in this area & choose whether it automatically rotates or not.
Navigate to /admin > Homepage. The first tab you see is the hero module. First, Choose whether you want content to automatically rotate, or whether you want to require manual navigation (manual navigation is the default setting & preferred best practice).
If your website has events enabled you have a few default options you can choose from. You can choose to show recently published events, random events, of slides. Most websites will only have slides enabled.
Add a New Slide to the Hero Module
Click the Add Slide button & add a desktop image or video & mobile image or video. This is the only required field.
To make the image/video clickable toggle on the direct link & add a URL.
You can add a Header & Copy, which will change the layout of the hero module a bit (so that text is not overlayed on images/videos).
You can add up to 2 call to action buttons.
Schedule the publish of hero slides
By default the published button should be toggled on & once you save the slide will publish. To schedule the publish of a slide toggle the button & schedule the publish date. You can also choose an end date if you want.
Reorder Hero slides
To reorder hero slides simply drag the slides to the order you want & click save.
