Admins may add, edit, and remove restaurants by navigating to their admin panel > Restaurants.
Click + Add restaurant & add the restaurant name. By default, all new restaurants are enabled but if you want to hide a restaurant from the app you may disable it.
Add a photo or logo. If no image is added the app will default to the first item photo. Use a high-resolution image (at least 640x360). Photos will be automatically scaled, but not cropped. If you want your images to look uniform we suggest editing them all to the same dimensions prior to uploading (for instance, make them all 1:1 or 640x640 prior to uploading).
Add restaurant attributes. This is where you can identify if a restaurant has outdoor seating available, a take-out option, or is pet friendly. Users will be able to filter restaurants in the app based on these attributes.
Allow Beverage Check-in: If you are adding a beverage Check-in at this restaurant you will want to check this box. Otherwise, that functionality will not appear (optional for restaurants that may not serve alcohol).
Add a Phone Number, Website URL, Operating Hours, and a Menu. You may link to an existing menu or upload a .pdf. The .pdf option is preferable for instances where the restaurant is offering a special menu for a restaurant week or may have special items available that are not on their regular menu.
Add Locations. Start typing the name of the restaurant & city to locate the correct Google Place. If you have trouble finding a location try typing in the full address of the location. You may add multiple locations (multiple locations will have their own pins on the map, but will only have one listing).
**Note: Be sure to choose the actual restaurant location or use a specific address. Restaurants that are within a large shopping complex may experience issues with check-ins. If you have trouble, please email support@patchboard.co & we can check it out.
