If you have chosen to host your website via Patchboard, here are instructions on how to set up your website DNS. Make sure to complete this step only after you are ready to publish your site to the public.
Step 1: Remove Existing Records
For your domain, delete any existing records for:
The root domain (shown as “@” or left blank)
The www subdomain
Specifically, remove any A, AAAA, or CNAME records associated with these.
Step 2: Add New DNS Records
Add the following records exactly as shown:
Root Domain
Host: @ (or leave blank)
Type: A
Value: 3.141.187.251
TTL: Default or 3600 seconds (1 hour)
www Subdomain
Host: www
Type: CNAME
Value: foodweek-apps.patchboard.dev
TTL: Default or 3600 seconds (1 hour)
Step 3: Confirm Setup
Once your DNS records have been updated, notify your Patchboard contact. An additional step is required to configure SSL certificates and secure your site.
