The App Configuration page lets you configure the event dates shown on your app, manage check-in settings, add additional links to the More screen, and adjust other options.
Event Dates
The most important thing to configure are the event dates. These are the dates shown on the main screen of your app (and website if applicable). Make sure to update these before marketing your event.
By default, these are also the dates used for the check-in task.
Manage Check-In Settings
You'll also want to review the number of check-ins required for your grand prize. This number determines how the progress bar in the app displays.
You can also adjust the check-in since date. This date is used to determine ranks and is the date used for calculating restaurant statistics. By default, it uses the event start date entered above.
Additional Links

App Options
The App Options section lets you adjust some features of the app:
- Use Rank Percentage: If enabled, the user will see a percentage rank (e.g. Top 5%) instead of an absolute rank (1st Place). This is useful if you need to review the activity of the top few users at the end of your event.
- Ask user to opt-in to sponsor marketing on sign up: If enabled, an additional opt-in checkbox will be added to the sign-up screen. If users opt-in to this, they will appear in the "Subscribed Users (Sponsor Marketing)" report.
- Show Item Photo on Restaurant Tile: By default, the restaurant list shows the restaurant logo next to each restaurant name. Enable this to show a photo of the restaurant's first item instead (if available).
Available Restaurant Attributes
Here you can choose which restaurant attributes you want to be visible in the app. Users will be able to filter restaurants in the app based on these attributes. Once enabled here, they will be available to select when adding or editing a restaurant.
Available By-Request Restaurant Attributes
When these options are enabled, the corresponding restaurant attribute will show "(By Request)".
